How To

Repairing A Drone's Damaged Motor

You must first identify the damaged part of your motor before you can fix it. The easiest way to do this is to remove the propeller from the motor shaft. Then, you need to remove any wires connected to the motor and inspect its inner workings. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

If the motor has not been damaged, it is safe to fly again.

Consider a motor that has become bent and won't turn. To get the motor to turn again, you'll need to bend it. For this purpose, you could use a vice grip to hold the motor and bend it back into shape. Once you've done this, make sure to check the motor thoroughly for signs of wear.

Once you're satisfied that everything's ok, put the propeller back onto the motor shaft and reattach the wires. Now your drone is ready to fly!
